This week…. GAH. That’s all I can say.  That and I am ready for the weekend and some serious sweatpants/couch time.  But when am I not?

Let’s get crackin.

1.  It finally happened.

I mean, it was destined to eventually… But yesterday I made a quick trip to Ulta on my lunch break and something took over my body and I just couldn’t refuse.  And let me tell you, I am already in love with this palette.  If you’re a neutrals gal like myself, this is a must-have.  Every color is so pretty, and true to the Urban Decay product, pigmented and goes on like a dream.  I also picked up a few new Real Techniques brushes and a NYX eyeliner in the most obnoxious sparkly teal green ever and I might just wear it around my house all weekend.

2.  I took Macky on his first little mini-hike yesterday down at our park, and he was in doggy heaven.  Except when we got down to the water and there was some out of control family throwing rocks and screaming and letting their crazy dogs run shit.  Who are these people?  I know it’s like public property and all, but can’t you see I’m trying to have a photo shoot with my pup???  Geez.

If you look closely you can see the terror behind those caramel eyes.

3.  I know I talk about it every week, but um… NASHVILLE!! *SQUEAL*

I mean, this week’s episode was all kinds of amazing, I won’t give too much away if you haven’t watched it (or just don’t care) but so. many. things.  Also, Deacon. Swoon.

4.  Is the Bachelorette really starting already?? I just saw a preview of it last night and I feel like I just finished watching Sean bore me to tears every week except for when his shirt was off.  I’m not sure if I can watch “Dez” for an entire season, but let’s be real, it’s summer and there’s nothing else on and I am a sucker for crappy reality tv.  So let’s all just embrace it together, ok?  Ok.

5.  I completely forgot that it’s almost Cinco De Mayo, but it’s like my internal clock was telling me something because for the last week I’ve been craving chips and guac like no one’s business.  But like the endless basket of chips that you know were fried in oil that hasn’t been changed in years and served with a vat of the most cilantro-ey salsa you could dream of.  So I’m dragging Brandon out tonight and I *think* there might be a Mariachi band there!! It’s the simple pleasures.
