I like to think that when you are aware of some of your (let’s call them) less than favorable habits, it automatically means that they are much less offensive than say, someone who is completely unaware of how annoying they are.
For example, I am totally aware of the fact that I say “I love you” like, all the time. Seriously. I don’t know what it is, but I just cannot tell the people I love enough how much I love them. Maybe it’s my OCD or maybe it’s just because I got a whole ‘lotta love. But I spew it forth like molten lava upon friends, family, dogs, etc. any chance I get.
And don’t think I won’t call you back immediately if you hang up the phone before I can get it out.
And even though I am 100% aware that I abuse the phrase, I have zero plans to say it any less. If my worst crime in life is my over-exertion of emotion, well than so be it. In fact, if more people were so inclined to exhibit their raw emotion towards the people and things that make them happy I think this world would be a much better place.
Having said that… I freaking love these burgers. And if everyone ate one, that would also make the world a much better place.
Mozzarella Stuffed Buffalo Chicken Burgers
You’ll Need:
1 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (I used 8 small balls)
1/4 cup Franks original RedHot hot sauce
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
1 tsp. Montreal grill seasoning
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 egg, beaten
Salt and pepper
1 T Worcestershire sauce
Directions: In a large bowl, combined all ingredients, except mozzarella. Shape into 4 large patties. Place mozzarella cheese in the center of the patties, folding the meat over it until covered. Press your thumb down into the center of the patty, forming a small indent. Heat a skillet over med-high heat, and cook both sides, about 4-6 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve on a toasted roll or English muffin.
I don’t think I need to say any more than the above photo can say for me.
PS. I love you.
Are you an over-I-Love-You-er?
