Wicked Fun Weekend

Oh hey there.  Anyone have off for Columbus Day?  If so, I hate you.  Just kidding.  But if you did, I’m jealous because I could have used a day off after the weekend of awesomeness I had.  What’s that you say?  You want to hear all about it?? Fabulous, I hoped that you would.

So if you read Kacy, Kelly, Amy or Steph‘s blogs, you probably already know, but this weekend was the second gathering of the sister wives.  And this time we gallivanted all around the lovely city of Boston.

After a night of (too much) wine and talking through the entire episode of Grey’s Anatomy during our sleepover at Kacy’s… Kacy, Kelly and I flew into Boston on Friday to be met by Amy (who had landed just moments earlier) and Steph, who would be our tour guide for the weekend.  Steph was a lovely hostess and showed us all around the city, taking us to wonderful places like Sephora and some great little restaurants.  The first night we hit up a sports bar, ate too many nachos and fell out earlier than expected.  But it was all for the best because the next day we did a lot of walking.

Kacy and I on Friday, after we ditched our leather jackets for a quick photo op. If all else fails we can totes join a biker gang.

Saturday started off taking in some beautiful fall foliage before having an amazing brunch at Zaftigs

Next we hit up Government Square for the touristy sights before heading to the park.

Afterwards we did a little shopping.  Somehow I managed to escape Zara unscathed, but I did score an adorable little maxi dress and sweater from an upscale consignment shop, called the Closet.  $30 later and I was very impressed with my findings.  We walked a few miles and rested our weary feet at Hennessy‘s so Kacy could watch her beloved Sooners play.  Afterwards we darted home through the rain to get ready for a night at Watch City Brewery, where I’m pretty sure Steph is never going to be allowed back.  Do you KNOW how many songs $20 gets you in a jukebox?  Me neither, but it sure felt like a lot as we sang them all at the top of our lungs.

Don’t even ask what I’m doing in this photo…

And then we celebrated my fake birthday.

Why yes, that is an instagram post from Amy, weird how she just randomly created an account that night… muahahaha.  (Yes, I deserved the fake birthday set up.)

Anyways, a fabulous time was had by all, and I’m so glad I got to experience such a great city with a wonderful group of girlfriends.  I know I’ve said this before, but I just can’t even tell you how lucky I feel to have met so many awesome people through starting this blog.  Explaining how I met these girls gets slightly awkward at times, but whatever, not everyone gets to meet 4 soul mates on the internets.

Here’s to the next one my loves ♥
