This weekend was a wedding reception for one of my favorite lady friends, Megan, and it was absolutely beautiful. The weather was perfect, the location was elegant and the booze was free!
How gorgeous is her dress?
After trying on everything in my closet no less than two times each, I decided to go with this little black number, aka the most comfortable jumpsuit ever, aka my new favorite item in my wardrobe. My love for jumpsuits is just one more reason I think I should have been a child of the 70′s. Every time I slip one on, I have to take a minute and assure myself that it is actually ok to wear it in public. This is mostly because it feels like I’m wearing pajamas, but at least they’re sassy pajamas. So yes- jumpsuits, love them.
The other thing I am totally in love with is the new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. When I saw the display strategically set up on my way to pick up a few things at Rite Aid, I was done for. Number one, I am a total lipstick whore and literally cannot stop buying it. Number two, I really wanted to work some hot pink lipstick onto my rotation, and it just so happened there was a lovely shade of neon just waiting for me to pick it up. This stuff lasted insanely well and goes on wonderfully. It doesn’t feel cakey like some lipsticks can, and the color is really vibrant. Definitely a fan.
The other reason I think I bought this is because subconsciously I want to be best friends with Emma Stone, who’s face was on the display. Like for realsies. I want to call her and talk about my day, and like, find out what she likes to do for fun, and giggle about how we’re both so awkward, and talk about music… Ok, so clearly I’m kind of obsessed with her.
But OMG LOOK HOW CUTE WE’D LOOK TOGETHER!
Ok so I may have just taken this to a new level of weird. Let’s just move on, but seriously, Emma, call me.
I guess I’ll just settle for these sexy broads.

omg Jess I just tried the lipstain this weekend to for my cousin’s wedding Saturday. I love it! My favorite lipstain was Benetint, but this is way cheaper! I like the balm on the other end of it, too.
I pick Princess Kate as my friend lol. Mostly to steal her wardrobe, elegance, and jewels.

2. Also love Emma Stone and was nearly in tears when she won the trailblazer award last night. kind of a random award, but i’m totally on board for her winning any award.
3. I would have never thought to wear a jump suit to a wedding, but girl, you totally rocked it! so chic!

OH my gosh. How do you make jumpsuits look so effortlessly cool?! I feel like I’d look dumb. Maybe I just need a little confidence to pull it off. I love that it takes the guesswork out of an outfit. I could have used that today, since I tried on like 5 outfit combinations before finally getting my butt out the door… haha

Truth, I bought a $24 Lancome lipstick in Midnight Rose because Emma Watson was the cover girl for the ads. (It also looks pretty neat on.) What is it with Emmas being awesome (fake) celebrity friends, who influence our lipstick buying habbits?
I’m really envious that you can rock the jumpsuit like no one’s business. (I’m way too short to make it work.) I get really angry when I spot a beautiful flowy summer dress, only to realize it’s really a jumpsuit. Like I curse and question fate to anyone shopping nearby.
