Today is going to be one of those days where I am fighting the constant battle of keeping my eyes open, not yawning in the middle of every conversation I have and making it past 8pm without falling out on the couch. In short, this weekend kind of kicked my ass, but in the best possible way.
Me and a few of my favorite ladies headed to DC to meet up and basically have a love fest involving all the food, drinks and girl talk that one could hope for.
And because my brain is still recovering, I’m going to just basically spew a bunch of photos at you and hope that they can convey the gist of the happenings.

Founding Farmers aka Best Meal of My Life aka Where we ate all the things.

Jess Tip: if you’re going to eat an enormous amount of food, wear a jumpsuit. It’s basically socially acceptable pajamas.
I have to say, I was a little nervous driving down to DC on Friday, we all know a houseful of ladies can be a little overwhelming, but within seconds of meeting Amy, Kelly and Steph (Kacy and I had already met last year in Philly), I knew it was true lady love.
And it shall forever be ingrained on the walls of Caribou Coffee. Or at least until the baristas clean up the chalkboard.

As long as you’re in this group of girls, prepare to be schooled on all modes of transportation of all the various cities. I’m sure this excites you more than anything else.

I said the same thing to Kacy, but THAT is the kind of blogger retreat I am completely jealous of. Girl time with you ladies would be a little bit beyond awesome, so I am TOTALLY volunteering my services as the boring DD next time around.

You would be a fab addition

Awww…you guys are so cute and I love seeing such a great friendship between women. On an unrelated note, what foundation do you use? Your skin always looks so fantastic. Or do you just have really fabulous skin? Tell me your secrets!
May 7, 2012 at 6:51 pm
I actually just went back to bare minerals and my skin has improved almost immediately. Sans makeup it can be pretty touch and go.

Also – I hope I didn’t scare you for boston public transportation with my stories of being groped on the green line. I promise to be the only one groping you when you come up.
